Jamie pour her heart into this event. She baked fudge, milktart, koeksisters, malva pudding. Made the games and the posters, the prizes, the gifts, and the decorations and the tables and everything. That together with our sponsors, the Saffa meats and our new venue 'in the Park'is a receipe for great success.
What did we get instead? Not a single inquiry. Not a single single booking. Not a single ticket sold.
I decided to cancel a day before the event. Cut our losses. I felt like a dog.
